The township has a total area of 89.37 square miles (231.47 km2), of which 86.42 square miles (223.83 km2) is land and 2.95 square miles (7.6 km2) (3.30%) is water. A large portion of the township is within the Ottawa National Forest.

Water & Sewer Payment Policy Reminder

Please be aware that the Township has a strict payment policy for water and sewer. Payments are due by the first of each month. Late fee and shut off warning for first offense. Must be paid in full by the due date (end of the month) or your water will be turned off with a $75 turn on fee.

Remember, there is a $20 fee each time a resident requests that their water be turned on or off.
